About In His Own Write.

In 1964 at the height of Beatle-mania John Lennon published his first poetry book 'In His Own Write.' An intricate, zany and sophisticated collection of poems, scenes and stories, it provided a fascinating glimpse into the mind of one of the worlds greatest wordsmiths. The book was a huge success with audiences and critics alike selling over 600,000 copies in the UK alone. 2014 marked the 50th anniversary and it's re-appraisal half a century later remained universally positive.

"As far as I'm conceived this correction of short writty is the most wonderfoul larf I've ever ready". John Lennon
